Katy B?rner
Indiana University
Katy B?rner is the Victor H. Yngve Professor of Engineering & Information Science in the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering & Information and Library Science, School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Adjunct Professor at the Department of Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences, Core Faculty of Cognitive Science, and Founding Director of the Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and Visiting Professor at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in The Netherlands.
She is a curator of the international Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit. She holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology in Leipzig, 1991 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kaiserslautern, 1997. She became an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellow in 2012.
 

Pascal Cuxac
INIST/CNRS
Pascal CUXAC is a Research Engineer at INIST/CNRS (Institute for Scientific & Technical Information) in Nancy, France. He is the ISTEX-LOD team leader, working on the automatic disambiguation and alignment of geographical named entities. He is an expert for the ANR (The French National Research Agency) since 2012, and initiated a special issue of the journal "Document Numérique" published in 2018.
He is member of the program committee of major international conferences (IJCNN-International Joint Conference on Neural Networks; IEEE CIS-Computational Intelligence Society; IEA/AIE-Industrial, Engineering and Other Applications of Applied Intelligent Systems; ISKO-Maghreb; IMMM-International Conference on Advances in Information Mining and Management...). 
 

 

Jean-Charles Lamirel
University of Strasbourg
Jean-Charles Lamirel is a both lecturer since 1997 and invited Sea-Sky full professor at DUT – University of Dalian China. He got his PhD in 1995 and his Research Accreditation in 2010. He is currently teaching Information Science and Computer Science at the University of Strasbourg and achieving his research at the INRIA-LORIA laboratory of Nancy (France).
He is a board member of international Webometrics journals and organizer of international conferences in Machine Learning, like the recent Kohonen’s WSOM+ 2017 conference He is also editor of special issue of international journals in Neural Network and Machine Learning, like NCAA. He is also committee member of the main conferences in data mining, like ICDM. His research work and direction led to the successful presentation of more than 12 different Ph.Ds (4 PhD’s are still ongoing). thesis. It also generated an important scientific production: more than 30 invited conferences.

 

Rodrigo Costas
Leiden University
Rodrigo Costas is a senior researcher at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University (the Netherlands). Rodrigo is also an Extraordinary Associate Professor at the Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) of Stellenbosch University (South Africa). He holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the CSIC in Spain. 
His areas of expertise include the fields of information science, scientometrics, and social media metrics. At CWTS he leads the research line in ‘altmetrics’, focused on developing new theoretical and analytical approaches to study the interactions between social media and science. Some of his other topics of research include the development of advanced scientometric studies of individual scholars and the study of funding acknowledgments as a new source of scientometric data. In addition to his research activities, Rodrigo is also involved in various European and contract research projects.



Xin Wang  Clarivate Analytics

Dr Lin Wang is Analyst of Web of Since Group, Asia Pacific of Clarivate Analytics.  She joined Clarivate in 2015 as a research consultant and took the role of Analyst of Web of Since Group, Asia Pacific in April 2019. During her five years in Clarivate, she has been working with Chinese customers from universities and government agencies to deliver hundreds of lectures and she has rich experience in customized research solutions. She was in charge of the collaboration projects with key government agencies in China. She was deeply involved in the publishing of global Research Fronts white paper released by Clarivate and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She has provided data analysis and assessment solutions to the national evaluation practice. Besides China mainland, Dr Lin Wang also has rich experience in providing research solutions to other countries and regions such as Mongolia and Taiwan.
